Larry Weaselhead

Weaselhead, Larry

Loved Larry's excitement for hot air balloons. Eternal Rest grant unto him, Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

Larry is now with our creator, no more earthly limitations.
Sad that we won't be seeing him around town now but happy for him, I am sure he has that BIG smile.
Condolences to all,

I have known Larry for many years. I had family and friends who at one time or another had worked at the training school. They all knew Larry well. i worked for A-1 trash for 5 years in the 70s and the state school was one of my stops. larry would follow the trash truck around and watch as we dumped the big metal dumpsters. it was somewhat dangerous to be around them so I made him stand back as the chains put the container up into the truck. He watched closely and seemed very interested in it. One morning i pulled up to the container at the front office and I had to use the restroom so i ran inside for a minute. When I came out of the building, I heard the truck reving up like it was dumping a container. I ran around the back and there was Larry. He had hooked the container up to the chains and had just successfully run it through the cycle, dumping it. I could not believe that he had done that by himself. He was very proud of himself. I once seen him take lug nuts off a wheel of a pickup with his fingers. He was amazingly strong...He will be missed.

You folks really got Larry information right on. I worked with Larry at the .W. S .T.S. for a couple of years. He would always go down to the fence by McGee collage and he would watch crusher across the highway. Larry would go over watch the Auto shop guys work and tell them if would work or not. When I would see him and his friends I would go over and say hello.
Even those a lot of the folks moved out of WSTS. I still think about all of them.

Larry was one of my favorites. The memories I have alwayd bring a smile. Because of him I learned to sign. He was so compassionate and patient when I was pregnant with my 12 year old, and oh the joy when I'd bring him HIS baby. He would just love on him and hold him so gently. The joy im Heaven must be grand right now with Larry shaking off hid Earthly limitations. God Speed dear friend, you'll forever be part of my wonderful memories.

My deepest condolences to the Weaselhead family. There are no words that can express the pain and sadness that comes from losing those we have held so dear to our hearts for so long. How comforting to have the promise at Revelation 21:4 where it says that God will soon "wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." In the very near future, we will once again be reunited with our loved ones by means of an earthly resurrection. (John 5:28,29). What a joyous time that will be, to be able to see our loved ones again! Until that time, keep close to your hearts all the smiles of the wonderful times spent together with Larry. May the "God of All Comfort" be with you in the difficult days ahead. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)

It is such a difficult thing to loose someone as wonderful as Larry, he made the unbearable times a little easier. We have missed a lot of the individuals we spent so very hours with during our years with them when we worked with them at WSTS and CES. We will cherish our memories of Larry.
