Lucille E. McCullough of Pavillion died at the Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton on Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at the age of 83.

Memorial services are at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton with Dick Pattison officiating. Cremation has taken place.

Lucille Elaine Ingwerson was born in Minatare, Neb., on Sunday, March 4, 1928, the daughter of Harley H. and Henrietta Emma (Stowell) Ingwerson. She moved to Wyoming from Gering, Neb., with her family to homestead at Morton in 1935. She was one of five girls making up the Morton High School graduating Class of 1946.

Mrs. McCullough was a store clerk and housewife, having married Alvin "Sparky" McCullough on May 15, 1947, at the Methodist parsonage in Riverton. He preceded her in death of May 13, 2010.

Mr. and Mrs. McCullough lived and farmed near Kinnear until 1970, when they retired and moved into Pavillion.

Mrs. McCullough was a life-time member in the Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Her family said she enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, cooking, her family and friends.

Survivors include a son, John McCullough and his wife Cindy; a daughter, Sharon Newkirk and her husband Ace; grandchildren, Rhonda Haslam and husband Kenny, Kevin Newkirk and wife Lisa, Kent Newkirk and wife Dana, Daniel and Jessica Davison; great grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Taylor, Braxton, Jaclyn, Jebrenna and Tanna; great great grandchildren, Trenton, Byron, Kyasha and Sharae; brother, Bus Ingwerson; sister, Erma Albert.

She was preceded in death by her husband Sparky; a son, Ron; grandson, Brian; great granddaughter, Shasta.

Memorials may be made to the Help for Health Hospice Home, in care of the Davis Funeral, 2203 West Main Street, Riverton, WY 82501.
