HENRY HEIL

Henry Heil of Riverton died Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Wind River Health Care and Rehabilitation in Riverton. He was 98 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Viewing will be prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Mountain View Cemetery.

Henry Heil was born October 14, 1908 in Sugar City, CO to Peter Heil and Anna (Keller) Heil. He was the first born of eight children.

Mr. Heil grew up on a farm in Colorado and in Nebraska.

On February 19, 1930 he married Mary Busch of Scottsbluff, NE. They had two children, Helen Heil Cafferty, who preceded him in death, and Marvin Heil, who resides in Riverton.

Mr. and Mrs. Heil farmed at Lyman, NE, after which they moved to Riverton, where he managed an International farm machinery business. He later went back to farming and the dairy business. He decided to get back into the machinery business and started the Henry Heil Company, selling Oliver equipment. He sold the business in 1967 and retired.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mr. Heil is survived by his son Marvin Heil of Riverton and one brother, Alex Heil of Riverton.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, daughter Helen Heil Cafferty and six brothers and sisters.
