Callean J Standridge Passed away in Billings, Mt at the age of 70, due to complications of pneumonia. Callean was born on November 23, 1942 in Portland, Oregon to Margaret “Ada” Detmers and Collis Nephi Thompson both of Beaver, Utah.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Justice officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Memorial donations would be appreciated to the American Diabetes Association or Paws For Life in care of Davis Funeral Home. Callean resided most of her life in Fremont County where she attended and graduated from Riverton High School. Shortly after graduation Callean marred her high school sweetheart John P. Martinez. They resided in Riverton for several years and have a daughter, Pamela. They later divorced. Callean married Kenneth J. Standridge and resided in Fremont County. They have a son, Scott. Callean helped with the family business as the bookkeeper for over 25 years. The family lived in the Arapahoe area where Callean enjoyed country living. Callean was an avid animal lover and was known to adopt all types of pets. With the help of her family she once bottle fed and raised 6 orphaned calves. She loved the outdoors and would go fishing anytime she could gather someone up to go with her. Her and her mother Ada, would sometimes camp and fish for days on end in the Dubois area. Callean found great joy in the holidays and often started her Christmas decorating 2 minutes after Halloween. She was well known among family members for her Christmas candy and shortbread. Everybody received a goodie tray. In the summer months Callean enjoyed attending local auctions and yard sales to look for treasures with her companion, Jim Abeyta. Callean loved to collect dolls and angels and had an extensive collection of each. Callean had a great and everlasting love for her grandchildren and her legacy will continue in each and every one of them. Callean was a loving and strong woman who battled health issues since childhood. Her faith remained strong right up to the day the lord called her home. She is loved and will be missed by all. Survived by: Mother-Ada Gilmour, Daughter Pamela Hubenka and husband Greg, Son-Scott Standridge and wife Elaine, Son-Kent Standridge and companion Pat, all of Riverton, Daughter-Julie Ellis and husband Don of Lander, Daughter-Judy Coley and Husband John of Colorado, Sisters-Joan B. Zerga and husband George of Lander, Bonnie Ziegler and husband Mark, and Margaret Wilt all of California. Grandson Nicholas Hubenka and fiancé Laci of South Dakota, Granddaughter Kassie Holdren and husband Joe, Granddaughter Kammie Hubenka and companion Adam Prince, Grandson Ray Garcia and wife Cassie, Grandson Ricardo Duran, Granddaughter Stacy Regan and husband Mark, all of Riverton, Granddaughter Michelle Cline-Eagles and husband Jesse Eagles, Granddaughter Jackie Cline and companion Mike Roth of Pinedale, Grandson Tyler Sell of Colorado , Grandson Donnie Ellis and Family, Grandson Duane Ellis and family, Grandson Jerry Benjamin and family, Grandson Jeff Benjamin and family, Grandson Scott Coley and Family, Granddaughter Wendy Taylor and family, Grandson Brian Standridge, Granddaughter Kristie Dalbol and husband Jacob, Tim and Shane Standridge and families..
