Nadine Gustin, 85, of Kinnear, died on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at the Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton. Viewing will be Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander.

Nadine (Goodnick) Gustin was born on April 5, 1929 in Chadron, NE to Frank Goodnick and Clarice (Norman) Goodnick. She was one of four children; she had two sisters and one brother. Nadine graduated high school in Nebraska and attended one year of college at Chadron State College. She then moved to Lander where she met the love of her life.

She married George H Gustin in July of 1952. They purchased a ranch near Morton Lake in the Kinnear area in 1957. Together on the ranch they raised three children, Linda, Dennis and Ron.

She was a 4-H club and activity leader for the twin bridges 4-H club. She also belonged to the Circle K Homemakers Club and Kinnear Grange # 48. She participated in various doll-making and rock-hound groups over the years.

Her family said she was an avid reader, excellent gardener, talented quilter, and patient mother. She enjoyed crocheting, jewelry making, and her dolls. She especially loved being around her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Edna) Gustin of Riverton and Ron (Cindy) Gustin of Kinnear; her daughter, Linda (Ken) Richendifer of Kinnear; her sister, Doris Brodrick of Rapid City, SD. ; her grandchildren, Vicki (Mark) Martin of Riverton, Terri (Scott) Wolfer of Houston TX, Jason and Mathew Gustin both of Kinnear, and five great granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Clarice Goodnick; her husband, George Gustin; her sister, Charlotte Goodnick; and her brother, Bud Goodnick.

Memorials may be made to the Help for Hospice Home in Riverton, in care of Davis Funeral Home 2203 West Main Street, Riverton, WY 82501.
