Richard Struckonehorse

Sep 11, 1949 - Oct 19, 2015
Richard D Struckonehorse of Pavillion began a new day healthy and strong on Monday Oct 19 at the age of 66. Richard traveled and lived in many places, one thing that was a constant no matter where he was, was the love of helping children and always giving to anyone in need. Richard would open his heart, his arms and his home to anyone that needed a lift up. Richard had a passion for kids and always had an endless supply of candy. He attended countless sporting events and had the loudest voice of support.

Richard was a man of many talents, his passions shown through in his countless works of art and counseling people with their addiction struggles. Richard was a mentor. With the biggest of shoulders, and without judgement, he would listen, counsel, love and offer his support to anyone in their darkest or happiness of times.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Beth of Pavillion, his children; Jeremiah (Bambi) Struck, Elizabeth (Dusty) French. His loving grandchildren; Carter, Jaxson, Taytum. Brother, Gilbert. Sisters; Patricia (Jose), Carla (Bill). Numerous nieces and nephews, and his special local adopted family and grandkids.

Preceeded in death by his parents Gilbert and Bertha. Brother’s Frank and Gerald, Sisters Lucille and Henrietta.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to a charity that supports children or addiction recovery.

Services will be Saturday October 24 at 10:00am at Wind River Recreation Center 424 S Main St. Pavillion. The family would love you to share your best memory.
