A Memorial service for Donna Renee Goodman, 64, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Davis Funeral Home with Mary Justice officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery. A carry in dinner will follow the service at the Faith Fellowship Church. Mrs. Goodman passed away peacefully on September 7, 2018 at her home in Riverton, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on October 18, 1953, in Belle Fourche, SD, daughter of Raymond E. and Helen J. (Webster) Smith. She spent her second year of life at St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Denver due to complications of Asthma.

Donna attended schools in Riverton, Wyoming after living in various communities with her father working road construction. The family finally settled in Riverton in 1966 having lived in Riverton a couple times prior.

On August 2, 1975, she married Charles E. Goodman at her folk’s home near Ocean Lake.

Donna worked various jobs in Riverton. She worked as a Victim Witness Advocate for over 10 years for the Arapaho Turtle Shelter, the Riverton Police Department and the Fremont County Attorney’s Office.

Donna enjoyed spending time reading, crocheting, and beading. She also loved spending time in the outdoors camping in the mountains with her family and loved horses.

Mrs. Goodman was a member of the Sunnyside Church, Riverton Eagles Auxiliary and Riverton V.F.W. Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, Chuck Goodman of Riverton; son, Jed E. (Tonya House) Goodman of Riverton; daughter, Jenny M. Baldes of Riverton; grandchildren, Makayla Goodman, Jacob Goodman, Brandon Baldes and Nikki Goodman; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, David E. (Sharon) Smith of Riverton and Dale W. (Lesli) Smith of Riverton; sister, Darla (Roger) Henderson of Greybull, WY; brother-in-law, John W. Goodman of Saratoga; sister-in-law, Vicki Loftice of Encampment.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be made to the Help for Health Hospice Home in care of the Davis Funeral Home, 2203 W. Main Street, Riverton, WY 82501.
