Karyn K. Nostrum, 71, formally of Riverton, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at home in Casper. A viewing will be held at Davis Funeral Home on Friday, October 5, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services are scheduled at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Davis Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Karyn Kay Eller was born on October 26, 1946 in Casper, WY to Edwin and Dorothy (Watson) Eller. She grew up in Midwest and Riverton, graduating from Riverton High School. She then attended Casper Community College.
She was of the Baptist and Quaker religions. She was active in bible studies, church choir, and church plays.
On August 28, 1966 she married Leonard Lee Nostrum in Riverton, WY. They had one son Timothy which they raised in the Denver area.
Karyn worked in bank informatics, as an apartment manager and in customer service for log home preservation products.
She enjoyed cross stitching, baking, quilting, watching the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos, and decorating. Her biggest joy was her grandchildren and spending time with them.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Leonard Nostrum of Casper, WY; son, Timothy Nostrum of Casper, WY; brother, Tim Eller of Riverton, WY; sisters, Nancy Ruble of Riverton, WY, and Linda Willenbrecht of Lander, WY; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Dorothy Eller.
