A Memorial service for life-long Fremont county resident, Thelma Irene Blumenshine, 81, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Mumme of the Trinity Lutheran church officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. A Viewing will be held Monday, December 3rd from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home.

Mrs. Blumenshine passed away on November 27, 2018 at the Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton surrounded by her loving family.

Thelma was born on December 14, 1936 in Riverton, Wyoming, daughter of Willard I. and Eva Z. (Daughtry) Real.

On March 11, 1957, Thelma married Herman E. Blumenshine, Sr. in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mrs. Blumenshine worked at the Tastee Freez for 18 years, Maxine’s Kitchen for 5 years as well as cleaning for Trinity Lutheran Church and Davis Funeral Home.

Thelma enjoyed creating crafts with her friends and attending craft fairs. She also loved spending time out doors with her family camping and fishing.

She was in the Lady’s Club O.A.O. for over 50 years and was an active member of the Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her sons, Ronald (Susan) Blumenshine of Riverton, Herman (Gina) Blumenshine of Riverton, and Mykle (Kessa) Blumenshine of Boise, ID; daughters, Zelda (Jim) Svilar of Riverton and Stacy (Terry) Young of Lemoore, CA; sister, Leona Wilson; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, and brother, Willard Real.

Memorial contributions to the Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Lutheran School or the Help for Health Hospice Home in care of Davis Funeral Home, 2203 West Main, Riverton, WY 82501.
