Terri Moran, 60 of Shoshoni passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at the Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton, Wyoming after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.



Terri Leigh Caines was born in Basin, WY on August 14, 1958 to Tom and Pennie Caines and grew up in Powell, WY. She attended Central Wyoming College and the Chadron State College on-line program where she earned her Bachelor Degree in Psychology with a CAP certification (Certified Addiction Practitioner).





She married Steve Moran in Riverton, WY and they shared over 29 years together.



She worked in the different positions with domestic violence, drug court, as an in-patient and out-patient substance abuse counselor. She also worked actively with holistic and guided mediation modalities.



She was a member of the ABATE Motorcycle Club for over ten years. She was also a member of the 12 Step Community.



Terri enjoyed riding motorcycles which included poker runs and trips to Deadwood and Sturgis, fishing, camping, and spending time with family. She was a Purebred Boxer breeder for many years and truly loved it.



She is survived by Steve Moran of Shoshoni; son, Tom Moran of Mandan, ND; mother, Pennie Caines of Shoshoni; step-daughter, Christy Reems and husband, Jared of Killdeer, ND; step-son, Scott Moran and wife, Missy of Lincoln, ND; sister Joni Oswald and family of Billings, MT; and grandchildren, Reid, Morgan, Alicia, Grace, Brooke, Michael, and Terry Joe.



She was preceded in death by her son, Zeb Sand and father, Tom Caines.



In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Help for Health Hospice Home (Riverton, WY) or 3-Dog Rescue Pet Shelter (Cody, WY) in care of Davis Funeral Home, 2203 West Main Street, Riverton, WY 82501.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at the First Presbyterian Church, 2025 23rd St in Cody, WY in the fellowship hall. A reception will follow.
