Memorial services for Jesse Jaden-Alan “J.J.” Black, Kathryn Analiese Mullins, and Ezra Paul Black will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Davis Funeral Home. Pastor Dave Case of Lifeline Christian Church will officiate.

Jesse died Thursday, August 7, 2008 at the age of 3, along with his 2 year old sister Kathryn Analiese Mullins and 1 year old brother Ezra Paul Black. The three children died in a tragic home fire.

Jesse Jaden-Alan Black was born May 12, 2005, the son of Jesse Walter Black and Rachel Marie Mullins.

The family said that Jesse loved to work in the yard, and enjoyed airplanes, trucks, motorcycles and fixing things. His favorite foods were hot dogs, Cheetos and goulash. He loved the outdoors and played outside for hours. He loved running and wanted everyone to run with him. J.J. was a wonderful big brother and took care of his sister Kathryn and brother Ezra. A very affectionate child, he loved bear hugs and kisses. J.J. was a fan of Spiderman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Jesse especially admired his older cousin Abree.

Kathryn Analiese Mullins was born June 1, 2006, the daughter of Jesse Walter Black and Rachel Marie Mullins.

The family said Kathy loved reading books and having books read to her. Her favorite food was pizza. She cared for her big brother a great deal and followed him everywhere. She had beautiful big eyes, a bright smile and enjoyed dressing up in pretty dresses. She was quite the talker and loved to dance. Kathy was very affectionate towards all.

Ezra Paul Black was born July 5, 2007, the son of Jesse Walter Black and Rachel Marie Mullins.

The family said that Ezra was a very active child, and chewed on everything. His favorite food was ice cream. He enjoyed sounds, liked to beat on objects to make music, and loved to dance. He was a very affectionate angel and loved to snuggle.

Survivors include mother Rachel Mullins and father Jesse W. Black of Riverton; paternal grandfather Alan Wayne Black of Worthington, PA; paternal grandmother Linda Diane Shields of Spokane, WA; great grandparents Thomas M. Shields and Sadie M. Shields of Liberty Lake, WA; uncles Franklin Paul Black of Worthington, PA and Timothy Robert Viall II of Spokane, WA; great uncles Thomas M. Shields II of Sandpoint, ID and Frank Hays of Spokane, WA; great aunt Wanda Bruce of Spokane; maternal grandparents Stephanie and Danny Martinez of Riverton, and Eddie and Augapita Mullins of Veteran, WY; aunts and uncles David and Bridget Mullins, Anastasia and Jessica Mullins, Jennifer and Josh Redfield, Caleb Martinez; cousins Sierra, Sativa, David and Mathais Mullins and Abree Redfield; several great aunts and great uncles.

They were preceded in death by great grandparents Arthur and Theda Black and Kathryn and David Manning; great uncle Howard Paul Black; uncle Jarred Black.
