Jennie K. Wilkins of Hudson died on Wednesday morning, Sept. 10, 2008, at Wind River Healthcare in Riverton, at the age of 64. At her request, there will be no funeral service and a private memorial service is planned. Cremation has taken place. Jennie Kay Sullivan was born in Sheridan on Feb. 11, 1944, the daughter of Kay Eugene Sullivan and Dorothy Elrose (Freebersyser) Sullivan. She was graduated from Johnson County High School in Buffalo. She married Larry Wilkins of Sheridan in 1965. They later divorced. She moved to Fremont County around 1971. Mrs. Wilkins worked in the medical field, primarily as a medical transcriptionist, including at Bishop Randall Hospital in Lander, the Lander Medical Clinic, Indian Health Services, and later at the Wyoming State Training School in Lander. She was of the Christian faith. Her family said Mrs. Wilkins enjoyed photography, sewing, and especially spending time with her granddaughter. Her family said she was a wonderful cook. Survivors include her sons, Lee Wilkins and his wife Stephanie and their daughter Sydnee of Helena, Montana, and Michael Wilkins and his wife Krissy of Florida; her mother, Elrose Fries of Buffalo; siblings, Diane and Leonard Davis of Sheridan, Mike and Diana Sullivan of Buffalo, Patsy and Calvin Abbey of Lander; her long-time friend and companion, Bud Mitchell of Hudson. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walker and Jennie Sullivan, and her father, Kay Sullivan.
