Funeral services for Mary Ann Majdic of Hudson will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 23, at the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton. Pastor Beau Byrd will officiate.

Cremation will take place following the service.

There will be a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Majdic died Monday evening, April 20, 2009, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. She was 73.

Mary Ann Caudell was born in Mentmore, N.M. on Feb. 28, 1936, the daughter of Delbert and Violet (Privett) Caudell. She attended the Hudson Elementary School and Fremont County Vocational High School in Lander.

She married Joseph Calvin Majdic on Jan. 19, 1952, in Lander.

Mrs. Majdic helped on the family farm, was a past 4-H leader, and her family said she enjoyed crocheting, reading, doing puzzles, playing cards, knitting, gardening with flowers and vegetables, and playing and visiting with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.

She worked as a waitress.

Survivors include three sons, Joe Majdic and his wife Kathy of Rock Springs, Lawrence Majdic and his wife Stephanie of Green River, and John Majdic of Riverton; two daughters, Delma Morris of Hudson and Sheryl Majdic of Tempe, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Bradey, Brandy, Paula, Sarah, and Ginny; 13 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Majdic, Barbara Majdic, Carmen Majdic, and Sue Caudell; a brother-in-law, Jerry Majdic.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Majdic; both parents; five brothers, Lawrence, Alan, Clyde, George, and Bob; a grandson, Rodney.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice, in care of the Davis Funeral Home, 2203 West Main, Riverton, WY, 82501.
