Connie Nation, 83, of Riverton passed away at the Help for Health Hospice Home on Friday, December 16, 2022. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
Connie Viola Nation was born on March 15, 1939 in Lander, Wyoming to Earl Thomas and Viola Francis (Mills) Nation. She grew up in Jackson, Wyoming and Kremling, Colorado. She graduated from Kremling High School with the class of 1957. She moved to Riverton in 1967 and made it her permeant home.
Connie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
In 1987, Connie started Little Friends Day Care in Riverton. She ran the business until she retired. She took care of 100’s of children.
Connie loved to crochet and continued until right before her passing. Another thing she absolutely loved was visiting with friends and people in general.
She is survived by her son, Patrick Nation; daughter, Crystal Lynn; daughter-in-law, Katie Verley; brother, Tom Nation; and fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Viola Nation; son Jim Nation in 2003, and brother, Charles Nation.
