Patrick “Pat” Duran, 34, of St. Stephens, Wyoming passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. A rosary will be recited followed by a wake on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 60 C’Hair Lane, starting at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Yellowcalf Cemetery.
Patrick Vincent Duran was born February 28, 1989 in Lander, Wyoming to Delmer Joseph Duran, Jr. and Patricia C’Bearing. He was raised and lived his entire life on the Wind River Reservation.
Patrick was baptized into the Catholic Faith. He also practiced the Traditional Native American ways.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards and dice. He loved hanging out with his children and nephews and also playing video games.
He is survived by his father, Delmer J. Duran, Jr.; sons, Kemree Duran and Jaden Shakespeare; daughters, Kately Duran and Kayleena Duran; grandparents, Mary Ann Duran, Flora Swallow, Chippa and Pat Goggles and family, Gloria C’Bearing and family, Salina Quiver and family, and Gloria St. Clair and family; step-mother, Rosa Duran; brothers, Delmer J. Duran III, Dxter Duran, and Braydon Duran; sisters, Lattera Duran, Summer Duran, Alexis Hutchinson, Lyla Duran, Christina Duran, Tamara Duran, and Misti Duran; aunts, Chalice Shakespeare and family, Stephanie McRae and family, Claudette Duran and family; nieces, Sontce Behan and Ayana Behan; nephews, Isaiah Coles, Uriah Kaden Hendricks, and Nyjah Behan; Sundance Grandpa, Robert Blackburn; uncle Colin Dean Amos; cousins Patricia LaWayne C'Bearing Dustin James Friday LaSelle White hawk Brown, Lane Winterhawk Brown: nephews Francis James Shane C'Bearing Julian Dean C'Bearing La'Meere Kyle Hayman, Marcellus Vincent Winslow Underwood; aunt, Colleen Brown; and numerous other relatives.
