Katherine “Kat” Garrett, 44 of Riverton, Wyoming passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
Katherine Suzanne Garrett was born in Granado, Texas to Lewis Kary Garrett and Velma Susan Hammock. She earned an Associates Degree after graduating high school. She was of the Baptist faith.
Kat loved the lake, camping, playing Hacky Sack, darts and pool. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Above all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Charles Lewis Olson (Selena Orr) of MN, Aryanna Suzanne Olson (Cody Becker) of Riverton, WY, and Brianna Dawn Olson (Ken Kocher) of Casper, WY; mother and step-father, Susan and Marty Majerus of Riverton, WY; sisters, Laura Garrett-Keeney (Scott) of Laramie, WY, Melissa Garrett-Pieper (Ed) of Casper, WY, and Tammy Garrett of Bishop, TX; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Kary Garrett; and Granny, Laura Dean Childers.
