Judy Ruth, 79, of Riverton, Wyoming passed away at her hone on Thursday, January 25, 2024. A private service will be held at a later date.
Judy Ann Gerber was born on December 9, 1944 in Craig, Colorado to John and Goldie Maria Teresa (Echteringkemp) Gerber. She grew up in Craig, Colorado and graduated high school. She attended Parks Business College in Denver, Colorado. She lived in Leadville and Twin Lakes for several years before moving back to Craig and then Ely, Nevada to four years. She moved or Riverton over thirty (30) years.
Judy married Martin Ruth in Hot Sulfur Springs, Colorado in 1965.
She worked at IGA in Ely for four years and then Safeway in Riverton for many years.
Judy enjoyed fishing, hunting, walking with Martin in the mountains, and watching wildlife.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Martin Ruth; son, Michael Ruth; daughters, Blanche (Kal) Jagst and Marian (Chris) Ruth; grandchild, Josephine; and three brothers and five sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
