John C’Hair Jr., 67, of Riverton, Wyoming passed away January 30, 2024 in Casper, WY. There will be a Vigil Service with rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home with a Wake to follow at 96 Sagebrush Loop. A Funeral service will take place Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen's Church with a burial to follow at Araphoe Catholic Cemetery.
Junior was born to John, Sr. and Amelia Nina C’Hair in Riverton, WY. on October 11, 1956. He grew up in Arapahoe, WY and attended St. Stephen's Schools.
He lived and worked in North Carolina, Alaska and Lander and honorably served in the United States Army.
Junior loved basketball, baseball, fishing, hunting, and attending church at the Arapahoe Baptist Church. He was a member of the Bonsell Raiders.
Junior is survived by brothers, Mitchell and Vicki C’Hair, and Jude C’Hair; sisters, Vera C’Hair and Rochelle C’Hair; numerous nieces and nephews, and grandkids; families of C’Hair, Hubbard, Redfield, Duran, Eagle, and LeClair. If we left anyone out, we are very sorry.
Junior was preceded in death by brothers, Gary C’Hair, Charles Piper, and Lee Eagle; sisters, Alberta Duran, Mary C’Hair Duran, and Wilma Rose Moss; infant sisters, Sophie C’Hair, Cordelia C’Hair and Dawn Marie C’Hair; grandparents, Xavier Iceman and Fannie Yellow Moccasin, and Cornelius and Cordelia Hardman
