Stephanie “Steph” Neuerburg, 32, of Dubois, Wyoming passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024, in a car accident. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Mountain Grace Church in Dubois, Wyoming. A viewing will be held prior to the service at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at the Dubois Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at Mountain Grace Church.

 

Stephanie Renee Neuerburg was born on November 16, 1991 in Omaha, Nebraska to Matthew “Matt” S. and Lynne M. (Nekuda) Neuerburg. She moved to Kansas when she was five years old and attended schools in Osawatomie, Kansas, and graduated from Paola Kansas High School in May 2010. She moved to Dubois, Wyoming in March of 2023.

 

Stephanie attended Fontana Christian Church in Fontana, Kansas, Paola Christian Church in Paola, Kansas, and Hope Chapel in Olathe, Kansas.

 

She was the manager at Family Dollar in Dubois, Wyoming and previously worked as an assistant manager at Tropical Smoothie in Overland Park, Kansas and a manager at United Bakery Equipment in Lenexa, Kansas.

 

While in high school, Steph competed on the OzPaw Swim Team, Panther Robotics Team #1108, and the debate team.  She was a life-time Girl Scout. She enjoyed hiking, camping, painting, cooking, singing, gaming, and watching movies with her son. She loved her son, Andy, her family, her boyfriend, Conor Rundell, and hanging out with girlfriends.

 

She is survived by her son, Andrew “Andy” N. Neuerburg, 11 years old, of Dubois, Wyoming; parents, Matt and Lynne Neuerburg of Dubois, Wyoming; brothers, Nick Neuerburg and wife, Jenny of Overland Park, Kansas, Nathan Neuerburg of Leawood, Kansas; sister, Stacy McDill and husband, Shane of Spring Hill, Kansas; grandfather, Norman Neuerburg of Clinton, Missouri; and many cousins, aunts, and uncle.

 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leonard J. and Adeline Nekuda; Grandma “Jan” Janet L. Neuerburg and uncle Randy Reed.
