Inez K. Whiteman, 37, of Ethete, Wyoming passed away at her home on Sunday, February 25, 2024. A Vigil with a Rosary recited will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Eagle Hall followed by a wake. The funeral service will be held at 10.00 am on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Stephen’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Whiteman Cemetery.
Inez Kay Whiteman was born on June 16, 1986 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Kenneth Jule and Sharon Fay (Land) Whiteman. She grew up on the Wind River Reservation. She earned her GED and Associates Degree in Business from Central Wyoming College.
She worked for Ethete Head Start and Tribal Housing.
Inez loved to travel, be around family and friends, had a big heart helping people when she could, liked reading and enjoyed the outdoors.
She is survived by her daughters, Zendaya Whiteman and Abaigel Whiteman; brother, Harlan Whiteman; sister, Joanna Whiteman, aunts, Barbra Cutch, Mercedes, Nikolova, and Karen Land; and uncles, Steve Land and Jimmy Land . The families of Whiteman, Goggles, Trumbull, Sage, Bearing, Arthur, Spoonhunter, Quiver, Potter, Harjos, and Land.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Sharon Whiteman; and brothers, Dancing King Whiteman and Kenneth John Atlee Whiteman.
