James Weber, IV, 52, of Riverton, Wyoming passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.

 

James August Weber, IV was born on September 30, 1971 in Lafayette, Louisiana to James August Weber, III and Virginia Lee (Kessler) Weber. His family moved to Riverton, Wyoming in 1979, where he grew up and graduated from Riverton High School with the class of 1990.

 

James joined the U.S. Navy in 1991 and was stationed out of San Diego, California on The USS Ranger as a Missle Launching Technician. He served in Operation Desert Storm. He was honorably discharged and returned home to Riverton.

 

After a short stay in Riverton, he attended and studied engineering at Denver Technical Institute in Colorado. He then returned to Riverton, working for Hasco's, Scott's Welding and later, Weld Pro. He enjoyed working with the precision equipment and machinery.

 

James loved his dog's and spending time with them. From a very young age, he built go-carts and later suped-up dune buggies, ATVs, robotics and scale model small engines. He cared deeply for his family and had many friends. He could described as kind hearted, strong willed, and hard working.

 

He is survived by his sister, Christine A Weber.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, James III and Virginia Weber.
