Funeral services for Vera Ann C’Hair, 65, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 23, 2024 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Arapaho Catholic Cemetery. A Vigil service with a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home with a wake to follow at 32 C’Hair Lane.
Miss C’Hair passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at the Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton, Wyoming surrounded by her loving family.
Vera was born on April 14, 1958, daughter of John Iceman C’Hair, Sr. and Amelia Nina (Hardman) C’Hair in Riverton, Wyoming. She attended St. Stephen’s Indian School and graduated from Wyoming Indian High School.
Vera spent over 25 years working for Wind River Cares. She loved spending time and visiting with her family and watching her grandkids play in their many different sports. She also found pleasure in playing bingo and the casino.
Survivors include her son, Medrick Moss Jr. and family; daughters, Amelia and Tim Stepetin and their family, Sophie C’Hair and her family, Jolene and Julian Hubbard, Sr. and their family, Marilyn C’Hair and Cassey Tindall, Sr. and their family; God Children, Dee Ann Wanstall, Tomas Ybarra, Jr., Norman Ybarra and Dylan Moss; 27 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Mitchell and Vicki C’Hair and their family and Jude C’Hair; sisters, Rochelle C’Hair, Sharon Bell,, Ida Monroe, Lori Ann Brown, Julia Whiteman Quiver, Nora Ann Little, Nora Pauline Oldman and their families; Also the families of C’Hair, Moss, C’Bearing, Hubbard, Redfield, Stepetin, Tindall, Coulston, Duran, LeClair, Hairyback, and Hardman family of Oklahoma ; Please accept our apology if anyone was forgotten during this difficult time.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents, John Iceman C’Hair, Sr. and Amelia Nina (Hardman) C’Hair; grandparents, Cordelia dn Cornelius Hardman and Xavier Iceman and Fannie Moccasin; John C’Hair, Jr., Gary C’Hair, Alberta Duran, Wilma Rose Moss, Johnna Moss, Marty C’Hair Duran, Sophie C’Hair, Dawn Marie C’Hair, Neil C’Hair, Mitchell Moss, Mitchell C’Hair, Shado Duran, Dakota Duran, Cordelia C’Hair and Bradley Moss.
