My heart goes out to family and friends of Susan . God never intended for us to grow old and die. In fact death is called an “enemy”. He promises to fulfill all that He has said (Titus 1:2). No more sickness(Isaiah 33:24). No more death (Isaiah 25:8). Seeing our loved ones again ( John 5:28, 29) and he says where at Psalms 37:11 and how long Psalms 37:29). Later when you feel up to it, please read these few Scriptures of Comfort. They helped me when my son and again when my daughter fell asleep in death. And, I hope these Promises from God will be of some comfort to you as well. Especially, when One reflects on the way Jesus viewed death at John 11:11-14. Yes, God’s son Jesus viewed death as one Sleeping. My deepest condolences to the family. May the memories you have remain fresh in your heart. May God’s tender mercies comfort you amidst such sorrow. Isaiah 41:10; 2 Corinthians 1:2-4; Psalms 55:22; Acts 24:15. I am so sorry for your loss.

To the Family,
I am deeply sorry to hear of your loss. Losing my parent has been difficult for me.
However, I found this scripture helpful. At 2 Cor 1:3,4 it says: “3Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;4Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”
Hopefully thinking about what these verses state can help your family during this time as it has for me.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Death is never easy for any of us. I am encouraged by the comfort that the scriptures give at Revelation 21:3,4 where it mentions that “death will be no more”.would you not agree that the one who gives life would have the ability to restore life if lost? Yes for at John 5:28,29 we read that “there is going to be a resurrection”. What a marvelous hope that is for all of us. I am hoping that these scriptures will give you encouragement and peace at this most difficult time.
Sincerely
DL
