I am so sorry to hear about Jim’s passing. My heart goes out to Bobbie and his family. My thoughts are prayers are with you.

Dear Bobbie and all of Doc's family, Our deepest sympathy for your loss, but I praise God that Doc is home and pain free. He will be greatly missed by many. He was a great guy to work with and his care and compassion were wonderful. God give you peace in this time of sorrow.

So glad to have worked with and known Dr. White. I am a better person for the relationship. Truly a very fine person and excellent surgeon. So sorry for the loss to the family and friends.

Some of my greatest childhood memories involve "Doc" white. He was an early example to me as a future physician and as a father. He treated me like a son even though he had three great kids already. Now that I have my own kids with their own friends, I hope they will think of me the way I think of "doc". Turn up the radio, hit the gas and smile!

Matt has the fondest memories of hunting with Jim, saving lives, and just talking about life. We hold Jim in highest regard as a man of God, a surgeon, and a shining example of how a man is to love his wife. You will be missed Jim, and yet always hold a place in our hearts.

I am truly saddened to learn of the passing of Jim. I first met him shortly after my arrival at MetroHealth Hospital (then GROH) as the Director of Labs and pathologist. Jim was a resident in Surgery, and I soon learned to have great respect for Jim both as a man and as a surgeon. We both left in 2006, I in retirement to CO, and Jim to pursue his dreams in WY. Ironically, Jim's cousin worked as the manager of a trout shop near my home in CO and we spoke often of him. I will always have fond memories of Jim. May he rest in peace.
