Willis, Phillis

I had Mrs Willis for a middle school reading teacher and she absolutely touched my heart. I'm so sorry to hear of her loss. My heart goes out to the family and may she rest peacefully ??

Our deepest sympathies to you all. We will greatly miss "Mrs Willis". It was such a great pleasure having her teaching our children as well as our family getting to be your neighbors. We will keep you all in our prayers! ???? I think Noelle will miss her the most as she has made such an impact on our little Kindergartener teaching art!

Bob and family you have been and will continue to be in my prayers and thoughts. I so enjoyed visiting with and then working with Phyllis. I know she had an impact on many kids through the years but especially at St. Margaret’s this last two years.

I am so sorry to hear this. My thoughts are with each of you. She will be missed.......

The news of Mrs. Willis’ passing breaks my heart. She was an extraordinary educator with such an amazing spirit. I credit her for my love of writing, and I’m so greatful for the wonderful things she taught me as her pupil. My deepest condolences go out to the entire Willis family as well as the many people she touched during her life. I’m glad that I was able to see her a few months back, and I will forever cherish our last encounter. She will be admired and missed for years to come.

Mrs. Phillis Willis was my 8th grade Art teacher many years ago. Then, she was my daughter and sons' Language Arts teacher. Also, I had the opportunity to work with her in her last year before retirement at RMS. She will be greatly missed.....

There are so many memories I will always cherish of Phillis. I will always miss her.

So many thoughts and so many memories. Phillis once said, "what is that song you are singing." It was Smile by Charlie Chaplin. Smile tho your heart is aching, Smile even tho it's breaking, When there are clouds in the sky.and so the song goes on. Phillis was a great friend and mentor. She will be missed, but will now sing with the angels. Blessings and Prayers for you all.

This is a very fitting quote for Mrs. Willis. She was an extraordinary teacher and she had a profound impact on my life. As an art teacher she gave me confidence. As an English teacher she ignited my passion for reading and writing. She was kind and compassionate and incredibly patient. I am truly thankful to have known her.

I'm so sorry for your loss Bob, Amanda, Ashley, Adria, Nadine and extended family! No doubt that you have some wonderful memories and my prayer is that they comfort you right now. Serving together with Phillis on Stone Croft Ministries Board for several years assures me that Phillis is in a better place now, no pain, no suffering, just HOME! Love and prayers ??

I am so sorry to hear the news of the passing of Phillis. Everyone at St. Margaret's School will miss her deeply. She was an amazing teacher.

We are sincerely sorry for your loss. Often times, no words spoken can ease the pain. But please remember God is nearby to strengthen and help you endure these difficult times. (Psm 147:3) He is the "God of comfort" and promises to fortify and help you. (Isa 41:10 & 2 Cor 1:3-4). I pray these words bring you comfort.

Phillis was my “sista from another mother”, a wonderful woman whom I had the pleasure to enjoy as both a teacher and then later on as a co-worker. She will be missed by many and was loved by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. Prayers for comfort and peace for Bob, the girls and all of Phillis’ grandchildren. She loved you all so much!

I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to the family for the loss of your dear Phillis. I hope that you will find comfort in the words of Jesus at John 5:28,29 where he promised that the day is coming when he is going to resurrect back to life those in the grave. And they will be brought back to a beautiful paradise earth with no more sickness. (Psalm 37:11,29) (Isaiah 33:24) Until then, it is just like your dear Phillis is sleeping. (John 11:11-13) May your family draw strength from Jehovah, the God of all Comfort.

To Nadine and the Willis Family - We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Seeing Phillis again was a highlight of family get-togethers for as long as I can remember.

I am shocked and saddened at the passing of my dear friend. It breaks my heart that she is no longer with us! I pray that her family can find strength to continue on. She was a wonderful person and a great friend, who enjoyed her life to the fullest! I will miss her! I can't even imagine a world without her.

To the Family,
I would like to express how sorry to hear of your loss. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. That pain is not necessarily erased by being told that your loved one is up in heaven.
I found what God promises in the Bible helpful. At Acts 24:15 it says “And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead.”
This promise has consoled me when my father died. Hopefully, it can provide some hope and comfort to your family.
