We are so very sorry to learn that Irene has passed away! She was always very sweet and very helpful to us! We had many visits about Robert and his paintings with her! God bless her family!

Irene - you will find yourself in good company on the other side. Those that you honored with your work and those who's lives you shared and spared. Many are in your debt.
To Irene's family: I hope you know or will come to know how much good came of her work with the Victim Advocate programs she was involved in. Irene truly made a difference in the world of domestic violence and sexual assault, on and off the Reservation.
What a woman! Her smile, laughter, humor, and big heart have left their mark. She will be missed.

Truly a lovely and beautiful person who was very enjoyable to be around. Her hearty laughter will be sadly missed. My deepest sympathy to all her family whom I know she was so proud of. My heart goes out to you all.

All of my memories of Irene include her beautiful smile. There isn't a mental image that does not include her genuine smile.

Though we haven't talked in years, I always considered her "family".

My memories of Irene from high school are that pretty face, beautiful smile and easy laugh. She was a genuinely nice person. I'm sure she will be greatly missed.
