Beck, Craig

We met Craig through his daughter, Laura, who married our son. We were impressed by his knowledge, his love of Laura, his friendliness to us, and his generosity. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Sending prayers of peace and comfort to Lou, the three daughters, and other family members.

So very sorry for your loss.. I think of my mom , dad and Grandparents every Day .. and it has been 37 years . blessings

I worked with Craig's eldest daughter at Hartsdale Pet Cemetery & Crematory for over 20 years. After reading this obituary about Craig's wonderful, rich life, I now can see in Clarissa many of Craig's personality traits and values. Our hearts go out to you and your family with the loss of your dear loved one. There are no words to take away sadness when you lose someone you love. Craig was one of my best teachers at Sheridan High School back in tbe 70s. He left a lasting impression on me that has been with me my entire life. His teaching style and personality was incredible. I was not a good student in school…Mr Beck got through to me! I will always be grateful for his lasting instruction. Thank you Dr Beck! RIP my friend. God bless.

I am so sad to hear of this! I consider Craig a true friend and will miss keeping in touch with him. He was a great superintendent and a great man! He was so thoughtful and caring to all those he came into contact with. Prayers for his family and friends. Gone too soon! Love ya!

Dear Lou,
We were so sorry to hear the news that Craig had passed away. Craig was not only an outstanding educator, but also a kind and gentle man. We know he will be missed by all who knew him. Craig was such a wonderful man. He was always very kind and fair. He was very intelligent and always put a lot of thought into every decision. We were so lucky to have him as a superintendent. I was so blessed to have him as a boss and a friend. I will miss him immensely. My prayers are with you on your great loss.

Mr. Beck was superintendent at Shoshoni when I drove bus and I have to say he was most fair to students and staff alike. I have the greatest respect for him to this day. Our community has lost a great man who gave his all for the education of our children and the betterment of the school system. he was a leader that communicated on all levels. I enjoyed working with Craig as a school administrator for Riverton District 25. He was intelligent, friendly and fair. He did a great job leading the school district. The book studies and comraderie he created was exceptional. He truly had the students’ best interest at heart. Lu, and your children and family, so sorry for your loss. RIP.

Sincere sympathies in the loss of Craig. May your hearts be filled with memories. He was always such a joy to talk to. Always excited about life and interested in others accomplishments. I like his statement of “there is no kill switch on awesome.” I am glad to have known Craig. He truly was an awesome person.
