Funeral services for Stella Helen Morrison-Antelope, 64, who died on April 24, 2017 in Lander, Wyoming, will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Great Plains Hall. Interment will follow at Wallowingbull Cemetery. A Wake will be held 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 2nd at Great Plains Hall.

Stella was born on March 4, 1953 in Potato Creek, South Dakota, daughter of Clifford Joseph and Elizabeth Lorraine (Good Voice Elk) Morrison.

She attended Brainerd Indian School, OCS Boarding School and attended Eagle Nest College Center for 2 years.

On June 21, 1972, Stella married Joseph Shawn White Antelope in Kadoka, South Dakota.

Mrs. Antelope worked as a maid at Cedar Pass Lodge, a cook at Northern Arapahoe Senior Citizen Center and also served as a Foster Parent taking in many kids over the years. Stella worked as a cook at the Arapahoe Ranch and managed the Showboat Restaurant. She was also a Tupperware Sales Lady.

Stella enjoyed making Star Quilts and moccasins. Much of her love was spent cooking, visiting with friends and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed the outdoors fishing and attending Pow-wows.

Mrs. Antelope was a member of the Yellowcalf Memorial Club.

She was a member of the Episcopal Church.

Survivors include her sons, Lester (Rita) Antelope, Sr., Shawn Antelope, Sr., Raymond Antelope, Donald (Crystal) Antelope, Bill Hiser, Robert Hiser, Anthony (Autumn) White, Wendall Antelope, Sr., Fredrick (Flora) Antelope, Jason Antelope, Sr. and Preston Lee; daughters, Joni TwoCrow, Deni (Dustin) Antelope Big Medicine, Debi (Shannon) Elkboy-Antelope, Dawn Lee Graham, Margie Small, Precious Lee and Tonya Antelope; brothers, Wilber Morrison, Sr. and his wife, Celinda, Christopher Morrison and his wife, Dawn and Tim Phelps; sisters, Debra Frazier and her husband, Roger, Marian Whitemouse and husband, Chubbs, Sarah Martinez and her husband, Butch, Cindy Antelope, Julia Morrison, Julia Brown, Etta Brown, Bernice Thompson and her husband, Stan, Gloria Goggles, and Kimberly Goodnight; grandchildren, Joseph Clifford Antelope, Denissa Elkboy, Tawny Elkboy, Brian TwoCrow, Jr., Amber TwoCrow, Kolton Belt, Lester White Antelope, Jr., Sterling Black, Jr., Cherish Black, Shannon Amos, Jr., Mato Amos, Honey Amos, Kyle Leonard Amos, Joella White Antelope, Stella White Antelope, Littlebear White Antelope, Ruby BigMedicine, Shawn Antelope, Jr., Erika Antelope, Raquel Black, Fransisco Black, and Shonyce Antelope; great grandchildren, Noah Antelope, Shyann Antelope, Peyton Felter, Nikoli Antelope and Skyla Antelope; numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Clifford Joseph Morrison, Jr., sister, Edna Morrison, niece, Theresa Zapata-Antelope, nephew, Robert Antelope, grandsons, Evans Jerome Antelope and Hunter Vance BigMedicine.
