|Veronica M. Moss (Evening Star Woman), age 26, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018. A prayer service and wake will be held begin at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Great Plains Hall. The funeral will be held at 10:00 am at Great Plains Hall with burial to follow at Arapaho Catholic Cemetery.
Veronica M. Moss was born on April 2, 1991 in Riverton, WY to Leonard “Tater” Moss, Jr. and Michelle (Behan) Moss. She was a lifelong resident of the Wind River Reservation. She attended schools at Riverton High School and Chemawa Indian School in Salem, OR.
She worked at the Dairy Queen, Wind River Casino, and Arapaho Head Start.
She like hanging out with friends, listening to music, going to the casino, and making people laugh. Her whole life was her daughter, Knoliya Rylea whom she loved dearly.
She is survived by her daughter, Knoliya Rylea; mother, Michelle Moss; sister, Jaden (Marcello) Moss; brothers, Charlie (Sharell) Moss, and Troy (Leona) Timbana; grandparents, Judy Roman and Leonard J. Moss, Sr; godparents, Francine and David Lonebear, Sr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended families.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard “Tater” Moss, Jr.; grandparents, Jean Moss, Clarence and Edna Moss, Charles Chingman, Phyllis Trosper, Ben Warren Jr and Vivian Lahoe; aunts, Becky Warren, Theresa Moss, Yvonne Moss; and cousins, Taylor Harris and Coulston Spoonhunter.
