Lynette Ann Truempler
May 23, 1951 – June 8, 2025
Lynette Ann Truempler, 74, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 8, 2025, following an extended illness. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and private family services will be held.
Lynn, as she was lovingly known, was born on May 23, 1951, in Riverton, Wyoming to Arthur Flavious Maxson and Irene Eleanor (Bisbee) Maxson. She was raised in the Pavillion and Dubois areas, where she built a life grounded in love, resilience, and deep family bonds.
While living in Dubois, Lynn met the love of her life, Jerry Lee Truempler. They were married on June 6, 1968, at the First Methodist Church in Riverton. In 1980, they moved to Minnesota, where Jerry worked for Blandin Paper Company and Lynn was employed in housekeeping at Manor House. In 2005, they returned to Riverton to be closer to family.
Lynn and Jerry shared a beautiful and inseparable bond. They were often found rock hunting, taking long drives through the mountains—always with Jerry’s “shortcuts”—and spending meaningful time with their children and grandchildren. Their love was a constant in each other's lives until Jerry's passing in December of 2023.
Lynn enjoyed following the activities, accomplishments, and milestones of all her grandchildren near and far. She shared a lifelong and treasured relationship with her sister, Lonnie and brother Russ, whose companionship, and love brought great joy throughout her life.
