It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Lane Jay Nelson, age 46, at his home. Lane was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kind heart and creative spirit will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving mother, Jane; his brothers Zane, Shawn, and Shane; and his nephews, Taury, Tim, and Zack. Lane was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Marg Borton, and his father, Harold Nelson.
Lane had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found true joy in spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion for creating—especially through the art of welding. His metalwork pieces, crafted with care and talent by hand, were a reflection of his artistic soul and hardworking nature.
