A Celebration of Life for Aahron Michael Surat, 35, who passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Jaycee Park, 1638 West Sunset Dr., Riverton, Wyoming.

Aahron was born on January 19, 1990, in Conyers, Georgia. From a young age, he enjoyed attending church youth camps and eagerly looked forward to building and racing his soap box derby car each year—an early sign of his lifelong passion for mechanics.

He graduated from Riverton High School in 2008. While still in high school, Aahron held his first job at McDonald’s and loved playing for the Riverton Raiders and all-star baseball teams.  Following graduation, Aahron proudly served his country in both the Army National Guard and the United States Army, including active duty during the Iraqi Freedom War. Following his service, he went on to attend Automotive Tech College in Colorado.

After completing his technical training, he pursued a career in the automotive industry, working for several auto body and mechanic shops throughout Wyoming and Colorado. Known for his generosity, Aahron often helped friends with vehicle repairs and enjoyed buying, restoring, and selling used cars.

An avid outdoorsman, Aahron loved hunting alongside his close friend Kris Skinner and Kris’s father. He and Chris also shared a love of technology and together built Aahron’s gaming computer. Aahron had a deep passion for motocross and participated in races across Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, and Montana.

In addition to his work in the automotive field, Aahron worked on oil rigs for companies including Precision and Patterson, serving in Wyoming, Nebraska, and Colorado.

Aahron will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, mechanical talent, and unwavering dedication to his friends, family, and country.

Survivors include his mother, Deborah Surat of Riverton, WY; uncles, Monte Surat of New York and Tim Surat of Worland, WY; aunt, Tammy (Russ) Carr of Brighton, CO and numerous cousins and friends.
