Funeral services for Shaw Esau Whiteman, 42, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 16, 2025 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Arapaho Catholic Cemetery. A Wake will be held Friday, August 15, 2025 at the home of Vicki and Mitch C’Hair, 291 Plunkett Road, Ethete, Wyoming.
Mr. Whiteman passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming.
Shaw was born on June 14, 1983, son of Lloyd Brown and Catherine I. Whiteman in Riverton, Wyoming.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine I. Whiteman; daughters, Tehsha R. Whiteman and Fallingstarr G. Whiteman; sons, Shaw D. Whiteman, Leviticus E. L. Whiteman and Lo Daniel Whiteman; sisters, Shanelle Friday, Adelle Najera, Tiffany Roman and Makayla Oldman; brothers, Lucas Sanchez, Richard Bearing, Doots Thunder, Chris C’Hair, Sr., Jon C’Hair, Thomas Crispin and Shane Brown; nieces, Lashay Friday, Joenelle Whiteman, Esperanza Lopez, Ovelia Najera, Shaelynn Roman, Kaylea Roman, Martyna Addison, Cassie Lawson and Orelia Lawson; nephews, Jai’ron Rhrodes, Averille Rhrodes, Rosario Sanchez, Gustavo Najera, Emiliano Najera, Alexander Whiteman, Miles Glick, Shy Roman and William Addison, III; grandchildren, Leviticus S. Bergh, Kenan Monroe, Halo Monroe, Vernetta Boright, Melvince Sanchez, Esmeralda Sanchez, and Adelleina Sanchez.
