Former Riverton resident, Julie J. Friday, 44, of Cody died in Cody on Sunday, Feb.26, 2012.
Cremation has taken place and memorial services are at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 2, at the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton. The Rev. Linda Norris of the United Presbyterian Church of Riverton officiates.
Julie Joyce Richards was born in Billings, Mont., on Aug. 22, 1967, the daughter of George E. Richards and Beverly (Smith) Richards- Jones. She was graduated from Riverton High School with the Class of 1985.
Mrs. Friday moved to Cody from Riverton five years ago. She was employed in the health care profession for Heart Mountain Healthcare. Her family said she enjoyed her work, lived to play games sports, board games, Nintendo, sing, dance, and watch movies. Survivors include her daughters, Brandi Veach and companion Anthony Rodriguez, and Shandal Veach; a son, Reece Russell; a granddaughter, Kyra Rodriguez; her mother, Beverly Jones and step-father Jim Jones; grandmother, Marlene Smith; a brother, Ryan Richards and his wife Ricci; sister, Trina Moss and husband Mike; step-sister, Kristi Kusel and her husband Larry; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, George E. Richards; grandparents Ruth and Earl Richards, and grandfather, L.L. Smith. Memorials may be made to the Shrine Hospitals for Children, in care of the Davis Funeral Home, 2203 West Main St., Riverton, WY 82501.
