Larry F. Prince, Sr., 62, of Chadron, Nebraska formerly a Riverton Police Officer died Monday, October 1, 2007 at his home in Chadron. Cremation has taken place. There will be an open house at the Prince Residence, 443 Burma Road from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2007.

Lawrence Franklin Prince was born, May 19, 1945 in Hollywood, California to Earl and Teri (VanSchoyck) Prince. He grew up in Elko, Nevada later moving to Florida and graduated Cocoa Beach High School.

Mr. Prince married Helen (Phillips) Prince on August 30, 1972 they were later divorced. He was a patrol officer for the Riverton Police Department from July 30, 1979 – October 4, 1991.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, and the Flying Club. His family said his hobbies included hunting, photography, and Native American research.

He is survived by his son Srgt. Lawrence F. Prince, Jr. and wife Olivia of Riverton; daughters, Michele Newberry of Largo Florida and Ashlee Wright of Orlando, Florida; two grandchildren, Brianne Wright of Wintersprings, Florida and Shayla Gibson of Orlando Florida; great grandchild, Ivan Villimizer of Winterspings, Florida.

Memorials may be made to the Paws for Life in care of the Davis Funeral Home, 2203 W. Main Street, Riverton, WY 82501.
