Danny L. Baker, 62, died at his home in Riverton Monday, April 23, 2012.

Danny L. Baker was born in Ramsy, Minn., on Sept. 15, 1949, the son of Edward Henry Baker and Betty Elizabeth (Oliver) Baker. He grew up in Minnesota, in the Austin and Redwood Falls, area.
He has served with both the U.S. Army and Marines, including a tour as an Army medic in Vietnam.
He had lived in Riverton for approximately 20 years.
Mr. Baker was a commercial painter by trade and had worked as a cook at the Trailhead for many years.
His family said he used to enjoy cutting wood and camping with his family.
Survivors include brother, James "Jim" Baker and his wife Jaye of Riverton; sisters, Sharon Holt of Riverton and Alice Wendt and husband Michael of Springfield, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jack and Arnold.
