Shirley Ann Miller died on June 26, 2012 at the age of 61, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
Shirley Ann Patterson was born on July 8, 1950 in Basin, WY to Charles Benson Patterson and Thelma (Sublette) Patterson.
Shirley was of the Catholic faith.
She was a Head Start Teacher for the Shoshone Tribe, where her family said she loved working and taking care of the kids.
She was enjoyed horses, beadwork, was an avid book reader, and the Pack Horse Racing in Dubois.
She is survived by her sons, Matthew Miller of Crowheart, and Aaron Miller of Morton; a daughter, Patty Sanders of Riverton; brothers, Chuck Patterson of Utah, Jerry Patterson of Washington state, Bill Patterson of Washington state and Vic Patterson of Iowa; a sister Pat Price of Colorado; 9 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her family said she also had numerous friends in Fremont County that were like family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
