Wayne Louis Delorme 65, of St. Stephens, died Oct. 26, 2012 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper surrounded by his family.
His body will be cremated with Memorial Services held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31st at St. Stephens Catholic Church. A Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, at St. Stephens. Military Honors held by Friday-Truan Detachment #683 Marine Corp League and Veterans will be held following the Memorial Service.
Wayne was born Oct. 22, 1947 at St. Stephens, to Louis Martin and Josephine (Hanway) Delorme. He was raised at Stephens and graduated from High School and attended two years of College. He served in the Army and spent two tours in Vietnam.
He married Juanita Herrera June 27, 1966 in Riverton.
He was Catholic and enjoyed spending time with his grandbabies, hunting, fishing, traveling and gambling at the Wind River Casino.
Wayne was a life long resident of Arapaho and worked, as a Veteran’s representative at Workforce Center for several years and retired as a Federal Judge for The Northern Arapahoe Tribe.
He is survived by his wife Juanita; sons, Shawn Delorme of Riverton, Kim Delorme of Fort Collins; daughters, Denise Gembala of Reno, Jenee Finnen of South Carolina, and Amber Duran of St. Stephens; brother Louis Delorme of Arapaho; sisters, Debbie Delorme of Arapaho, Yvette Bartell of Riverton and Carlene Smith of Riverton; 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Renae Delorme, his parents and sister Fran Delorme.
