Riverton native Patricia A. Wise died at her home in Riverton Monday morning, Nov. 12, 2007. She was 39 years old.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at the Riverton B.P.O. Elks Lodge on Main Street.
Patricia Ann Wise was born in Riverton on April 24, 1968, the daughter of Robert E. Wise and Kitty (Weir) Wise.
She was graduated from Riverton High School with the Class of 1986 and had lived in the Gas Hills and in Riverton.
Her primary occupation was as a ranch hand, and her family said it was the work she enjoyed most. She had also worked in cafes including Burger King and the Red Eagle, and at Kmart and WalMart.
Her family said she enjoyed raising her children, spending time with her family and friends, rock hunting, but her passions were fishing and poetry.
Survivors include her son, Anthony Herrera; daughters, Savanna Herrera and Amanda Herrera; her parents, Kitty and Chip Maupin of Riverton; brothers, Robert G. Wise of Riverton, Shane Maupin of Deatsville, Ala.;, Brian Wise of Riverton, and Sunny Maupin of Riverton; sisters, Nora Kennedy and her husband Tony of Buffalo and Sheila Maupin of Glendale, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wise; paternal and maternal grandparents, and a brother, Lloyd Wise.
