A memorial service for Mary Elizabeth Speyer, 73, will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 21, 2012 at Davis Funeral Home with Ted Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Mary died at the Mountain View Regional Hospital in Casper, WY on December 18, 2012.
She was born December 15, 1939, in Winnemucca, Nevada, daughter of Charles E. and Mildred E. (Cripe) Stewart.
On January 25, 1960, she married Charles Speyer in Rawlins, Wyoming.
The couple lived in Riverton from 1960 until 1986 and then moved to Lovelock, NV and lived there until 1991. They then returned to Riverton and spent their remaining years. Mary managed the Teton Sertoma for the past 25 years.
Her family said that Mary loved spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and cooking. Everyone in her family said they will miss her strawberry jam, cinnamon rolls, banana bread and snicker doodles.
Survivors include her son, James and his wife, Lesa; daughter, Sue and her husband, Steven Smerud, son-in-law, Scott Gantenbein all of Riverton; 6 grandchildren, Harlee Speyer, Karla (Chuck) Kuchera, Kylie (Duke) Emerson, Lyndsay Brow, Stephanie (Brian) Woods, and Keith (Sarah) Gantenbein; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Don (Evelyn) Stewart Nevada; sister, Nancy (Ted) Hailey of Douglas, WY; sister-in-law, Mary Stewart of Alamo, NV.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Vickie Gantenbein, brother, Charles L. Stewart, sister, Esther Ann Warden, nephews, Cory Hailey and Doug Stewart.
