Nadine E. Held passed away peacefully at her home in Dubois, Wyoming on January 3, 2013 at the age of 78, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was the first of two children born in Tacoma, Washington on June 13, 1934 to Harry and Elizabeth Mast. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Elizabeth Mast, sister, Nelda Cano, beloved husband of 57 years, Woodie, and grandson, Cody Mitchell. She is survived by five children, Cinda Cornwell (Richard), Joy Brown (Anthony), Woodson H. Held, Sherry Mitchell (Dale), and Roxanne Plummer (Richard), and 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Nadine enjoyed her family and home. She also enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, quilting, reading and looking for rocks and wild flowers. She was an active member with Epsilon Sigma Alpha International (E.S.A.), for 41 years serving as President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
Nadine has touched the lives of so many and will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.
At her request no service will be held. A private celebration of her life will be held by family. Donations in her memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
