Rex Lindberg was born on April 18, 1953 in San Luis Obisbo County, California. He received his GED and completed two years of junior college in Riverton, WY. While Rex was completing his first semester at UW he suffered a brain injury due to a motor vehicle accident on May 12, 1992 outside of Centennial, WY. He was thrown from his truck and lay in the elements, at 8000 feet, for approximately fourteen hours. Following the accident, Rex received rehab at PVH in Ft. Collins, CO. In 1998 he moved to Wyoming Life Resource Center where he lived out a full life despite his brain injury.
Rex enjoyed living and working at WLRC where he was known for his great sense of humor, friendly spirit and was always willing to try something new.
Rex was preceded in death by his brother Michael and his Mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lindberg and is survived by his brother Frank, many cousins, nieces and nephews
