David Hursh, 29, of Riverton died on Monday, April 22, 2013 at his home. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 502 E Madison at 4:00 pm.
David Oliver Hursh was born on April 30, 1983 in Caldwell, ID to David Edgar and Lila Lee (Frog) Hursh. He grew up in Caldwell and graduated school there.
He was an Eastern Shoshone descendant of Chief Washakie.
He was an auto mechanic by trade.
His family said that he enjoyed riding motorcycles, drawing, artwork, shooting pool, fishing and duck hunting. He was very good with kids and loved his mother very very much. His family said that his favorite color was green and his favorite number was 3.
He is survived by his mother, Lila Hursh of Riverton; his daughter, Sterling; his son, Isaac; his brother, Richard Hursh; and his sister, Heidi Lee Hobson; his grandmother, Mary Hursh; his uncles, Edward Abeyta, Ted Abeyta, Mario Jaure, Monty Jaure, Dewi Jaure, Joe Jaure, Jess Jaure, John Herrea, Tony Herrea, and Rick Herrea; his aunts, Linda Jaure, Sue Herrea, Yolanda Fletcher, Michelle Abeyta, Pat Smith, Hope Abeyta, Paula Abeyta, Chicks Washakie, Claudia Washakie, Becky Washakie, and Amy Jaure; good friends, Sandy Manzares, Kenny Truyen, Dave Brewbaker, Matt Warren, Dave Roman, Jeff Jevne, Shane Long, Cisco Roman, Trinidad Hartman, Kenny Calvert, Kimberly Calvert, Kendra Calvert, Roman family, Hartman Family, and Arnold Family.
