Former Riverton resident Madge J. Moore of Saratoga died in Rawlins on Thursday, April 12, 2007. She was 74 years old.
Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April, 17, at the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton. Viewing will preceded the services from 9 to 10 a.m. Buriall will take place at the Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton. The Reverend Tommy Means will officiate.
Madge Joan Lytle was born in Pukwana, S.D., on Feb. 23, 1933, the daughter of Vernon Robert Lytle and Ruth Augusta (Kiepke) Lytle.
She was graduated from the University of Wyoming and belonged to the UW Alumni Association.
She married Frank John Moore in Gillette on Feb. 6, 1960.
Mrs. Moore was a teacher and homemaker. She taught elementary schools in South Dakota and Midwest, before moving to Riverton in 1966. She moved to Saratoga in 2004 to be closer to family.
Mrs. Moore was a member of the Lutheran faith. Her family said she enjoyed reading, watching old movies, bingo, and collecting things.
Survivors include daughters, Nancy Sanders of Sinclair and Peggy Woolery of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Sterling Hall, Samantha Sanders, Savannah Sanders, Joy Woolery, and Mae Woolery; sisters, Alice Scott, Helen Wolfgang, and Shirley Golay; brother, John Lytle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and her husband, Frank John Moore.
