Spence Dolan

Spencer “Spence” Dolan, 52, of Lander died at his home Tuesday, May 28, 2013. As requested by the family, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.

Spencer Jayme Dolan was born on October 9, 1960 to Lloyd Lewis Dolan and Frances Darlene (Burdick) Berghorst in Sunnyvale, CA.

He grew up in California and graduated from Hanford Union High School. He then taught Culinary Arts through Columbia Community College in Sonora, CA. He was a drummer and won awards with his drumming skills.

He worked as a chef in many different areas thru out California. He then worked and lived in the Reno, NV area for thirteen years before moving to Wyoming in 2009. While in Wyoming, he worked as a chef at the Deka-Guy Hee “Easting House” at Shoshone Rose Casino until a car accident left him disabled.

He enjoyed spending time with his fiancée and family at his parent’s farm. He worked very hard to make the farm beautiful for his parents.

He is survived by his mother, Fran Berghorst; stepfather, Henry Berghorst; his fiancée, Jamie Candelaria Mejia; his sons, Travis Dolan, Jordan Dolan, Jarod Dolan, and Jaden Dolan; his stepsons, Anthony and Andrew Mejia; and his favorite aunt, Erma Moore of Sparks, NV.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Lewis Dolan and his sister, Deidre Dolan Lawrence.
