Memorial services for Kenneth Lee “Kenny” Rusler, 61, will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2013 at Davis Funeral Home with Pastor David Magruder of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions to the Help for Health Hospice Home.
Kenny was born November 23, 1951, in Riverton, Wyoming, son of Jerry L. and Dorothy (Kraus) Rusler.
He lived and was raised in Sand Draw and attended country schools until his high school years, when he attended Riverton High School, where he graduated.
After graduation he worked for his uncle at the Husky Service Station. He then went on to work for the Northern Utilities Co. in Sand Draw for over 20 years until his retirement. Kenny then went on to work for M&M Inc. as a contract pumper until his death.
Kenny enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, 4-wheeling, fishing, hunting and lawncare. He also enjoyed watching westerns and loved his dogs, Bernie and Rusty.
He was a member of the ATV Club.
Survivors include his special friend, Paula Caines of Riverton; his mother, Dorothy Rusler of Riverton; sister, Joyce and her husband Patrick McKiernan of Riverton; Uncle Bob and Aunt Muriel Kraus of Riverton; niece, Tonya and her husband, Rich Lange of Riverton; nephew, Nick and his wife Lauren McKiernan of Riverton, great nephews, Dillon and Derick Lange and Tyler McKiernan, great niece, Torrey McKiernan.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Dave and Alvina Kraus and Harold and Genevieve Rusler.
