Cassidy Linn Cooper, 6, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013 in Riverton, Wyoming.
Cassidy was born on June 22, 2006 in Cheyenne and had lived in the area all of her life.
She just completed first grade at the Burns Elementary School.
Cassidy loved to read more than anything. She enjoyed solving and writing her own mysteries. Cassidy was involved in ballet at Act 2 studios, gymnastics, and crafts and coloring. Cassidy loved to sing and had written her own songs. She also had been learning to pan for gold with her Dad. Most of all, she was Dad’s #1 helper.
She is survived by her parents, Chris and Cori (Shaffer) Cooper; a sister, Cadence “Cadie” Cooper; her grandparents, Glenn and Francene Shaffer of Cheyenne, and Craig and Carol Cooper of Riverton; a great grandmother, Leona Hagedorn of Cheyenne; aunts and uncles, Darcy and Kevin Guille of Cheyenne, Geoff and Julie Cooper of St. Louis, Missouri, and Catherine and Shane Rosenthal of Buffalo, Wyoming; and numerous cousins.
Services will be Monday, 10:00 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Aaron Justice and Rev. Diana Hartman officiating.
Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Adam Graves, Geoff Cooper, Craig Cooper, and Glenn Shaffer.
Honorary pallbearers are Shane Rosenthal and Kevin Guille.
