Funeral services for Tammy Michelle Milleson, 45, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013 at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church with Father Demetrio Penascoza officiating. A Rosary for Tammy will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2013 at Davis Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the “Tammy Rogers Milleson Memorial Fund” set up for her daughters and may be sent to the 1st Interstate Bank in Lander or Davis Funeral Home.
She died June 28, 2013 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming.
Tammy was born February 10, 1968 in Lander, Wyoming, daughter of Thomas and Peny L. (Nicol) Rogers.
Tammy attended the Lander schools, graduating from Lander Valley High School in 1986. She then graduated Magna Cum Laude from Chadron State College receiving her B.S. in Elementary Education in 1990.
On June 22, 1991, Tammy married David J. Milleson at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lander.
She taught at Badger Clark Elementary School at Elsworth Air Force Base, SD. August of 1998, Tammy began working at Riverton Middle School as a 6th grade Language Arts teacher. She then went on to work as a Reading Intervention Teacher at Lincoln Elementary and was currently a 1st grade teacher at Aspen Park Elementary School.
Tammy enjoyed fishing, riding snow machines, 4-wheeling, camping, watching their girls in their numerous activities including, dance, hocky, softball and soccer. She loved to do anything involving her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of Riverton; daughters, Hally Rochele, Kelsey Laura Louise, and Aubrey Janae; parents, Thomas and Peny Rogers of Lander; grandmother, Alma Nicol of Lander; mother-in-law, Myrna Milleson of Lander; sister, Shelli Hitshew and her husband, Mike of Lander; brother-in-law, Tom and his wife, Cindy Milleson of Bozeman, MT; sisters-in-law, Mary and her husband, Chris Komloski of Frederik, CO and Nancy and her husband, Gary Janousek of McCook, NE; nieces, Makenzie Hitshew and Ashley Milleson; nephew, Tyler Hitshew.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Olga Rogers, Jule Nicol and her father-in-law, James Milleson.
