Isabell “Izzy” Wolf, 73 of Riverton died at the Help for Health Hospice Home on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services held.
Isabell Leone Mitchell was born on Thursday, October 10, 1940 in Malad City, ID to Oliver and Belva (Williams) Mitchell. She grew up in Malad City and Dillon, MT. She graduated high school from Beaverhead High School in Dillon, MT.
Forty-three years ago while she was on her way to Park City, UT she became lost and ended up in Evanston, WY. When arriving in Evanston she met Melvin L Wolf and they went to a dance. Twelve days later on December 4, 1970, they were married in Evanston and were each other’s best friend for forty-three years.
Together they lived in Rock Springs, WY before coming to Riverton in 1983.
She retired from Brunton after 20 plus years.
She enjoyed gardening, loved her flowers, going to lunches with friends, socializing, and going for rides around Fremont County. She especially enjoyed spending time with her best friend, Debbie Bessey.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin and her four legged friend, Annie, both of the family home; her brother, Don (Jo) Mitchell of Dillon, MT; her bother-in-laws, Myron (Theressa) Wolf of Superior, WY and Marvin (Sandy) Wolf of Riverton, WY; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Belva, and her brother Calvin Mitchell.
