A Celebration of Life Luncheon for Sequoia Lee “Dervin” Middleton, 44, will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Set Free Church in Riverton. Memorial contributions will be greatly appreciated to the Davis Funeral Home for funeral costs.
He died October 29, 2013 at his home in Riverton.
He was born October 30, 1968, in Riverton, Wyoming, son of Clifford Wayne and Laura Lee (Whiteman) Middleton.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, football, candy, and cooking. He also was known for partying and spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Middleton was a born again Christian with the Set Free Church. He was happy to finally reunite with his kids, Garret Middleton and Paige Middleton-Huntsman; in addition to his granddaughter Joanaley Huntsman.
He worked in the oilfield most of his life, however in the most recent years he spent taking care of his mom.
Surviving family include, Dallas and Sherry Long, Paige Middleton-Huntsman, Joanaley Huntsman, Garret Middleton, Leon Covell; nieces Jesse, Hailey Stevens, Naquita Emerson, Christen Middleton; aunts and uncles, an ex-wife, Kathleen Pineda, and many close family friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Sterling S. Middleton, Shane D. Long, step-dad, Felix Whiteman, and Brandie Long.
